Engineer by profession, I have dedicated my 17-years professional career to the humanitarian sector in several functions and missions in Middle East, South East Asia, Africa and the Americas, where I have been asigned for the last 7 years. Lately, I have specialized in livelihoods programmes, and in 2017, I joined the Livelihoods Resource Centre (LRC) of the IFRC.
The Livelihoods Resource Centre (LRC) is a global IFRC Reference Centre hosted by the Spanish Red Cross. Its mission is to promote livelihoods programming by capturing good practice, turning it into meaningful learning to achieve effective field impact. The LRC's work involves gathering, analysis and dissemination of resources and lessons learnt on livelihoods programming, and strengthening the capacities of National Societies of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, and other organizations interested in promoting the inclusion of livelihoods in its work.
