Chantal Braithwaite Philip has dedicated her career to improving people’s quality of life through the protection of human health and safety. After completing her Masters in Public Health Degree in United States, she felt compelled to return to the Caribbean to contribute to the region’s development. At the IFRC, she has had the opportunity to make impactful contributions in the delivery of programmes and services to the National Societies we serve and by extension the wider population, contributing to Zika Prevention and Response Project and Community Based Health and First Aid Programming in the region. Before joining the IFRC, she contributed to community and national development as the Community Relations Coordinator at a multinational energy company and leading a team at the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management, the National Disaster Office in Trinidad and Tobago.
