Pedro Simoes, Head of Finance and Administration, Americas
Pedro holds a university degree in Management and Business Administration with one year specialization in Human Resources.
Pedro has been working for the Federation since 1994. Before joining the Americas Regional Office, he has been almost ten years working as a Senior Internal Auditor, based in Geneva, as part of the Office of Internal Audit and Investigation. Before that, he was the Finance Manager for the MENA Zone for one and half years, and Head of Regional Finance Unit for Europe and MENA between July 2005 and September 2008. He also worked as Regional Finance Delegate in Almaty Regional Delegation in 2005 and as Finance Training Officer based in Geneva between September 2002 and December 2004. Between 1994 and 2002 Pedro spent a number of years in various field finance positions in Africa and Europe regions.
