OVERVIEW: These 3 interconnected sessions will take the listener through looking at Hurricane Science in 2020.

Second, the American Red Cross will review how it uses forecast products to make decisions around evacuation sheltering as part of the overall Response system. Additionally, this session will look at safety of facilities as well as a brief look at sheltering in a COVID Environment.

PURPOSE: Using Hurricane Science to make sound decision to help keep our populations safe when threatened by a tropical event.
